Paris, le 16 janvier 1924 ; 2 pages in-8°, en anglais, enveloppe timbrée jointe. « Dear Monsieur Guyot When you first conveyed to me the news of your wife death, I wrote you a letter which - after all - I did not send because it seemed to me too intimate an intrusion on your sorrow. A sorrow that, one knew well, one worse from any stranger or friend, could alleviate. I do not myself, think that even time and the passing of life does much to hunt that grief. One can only sympathize smartely from a distance ! I have not yet received any official intimation from the director of the Information universitaire but I will do my best to meet his news.
